CUUPS Sabbats are primarily conducted at the University Unitarian Congregation in Seattle with some select rituals being conducted at Woodland Park or other parks during fair weather seasons. The address for UUC, bus information and driving directions are posted on the UUC website.

Our Sabbats are pre-planned events with CUUPS and Guest ritualists planning and carrying out the services. They are participatory and all celebrants are expected to be actively engaged in the ritual in some manner or other. Sorry, but we do not allow non-participants to observe our celebrations.

These are public rituals which are open to all. We only ask that anyone planning to attend read and adhere to the ritual etiquette posted on this web site. This will ensure that all celebrants enjoy the spirit of the season and that their individual spiritual needs are met in a loving, caring, and respectful way.

Our rituals are usually preceded or ended with a potluck. If you bring a potluck item, please bring a description of the item so that people with specific dietary requirements may decide if they would like to sample your fare.

We post the intent, description, and contact person for our Sabbaths on the web site every two months in our on-line Calendar.

We discuss the specifics of the ritual in a pre-ritual discussion on the day that it is done with an appropriate amount of time for questions and answers for celebrants.

If you would like more information on a particular ritual or to be included in our email distribution list please contact us
